Plant delivery to your front door: it doesn’t get much easier. A perfect solution if you don’t have a car, for example, or when don’t feel like driving to a garden centre in a busy city like Amsterdam. At Green lifestyle store, all plants are delivered fresh from the grower, and are properly packaged in a plant-friendly box. This way, your new plants will be delivered to your home in a perfect state.
Plant delivery: Will my new plants be all right?
It may seem like a crazy idea: plants that are transported throughout the country, in a sealed box. Many people wonder if their new plants will survive it, and if they will still look great upon arrival. No worries! Your new plants are in good hands. All plants are delivered fresh from the grower, which means that they are as fresh and healthy as possible! They can easily handle something as simple as a ride to your front door. In addition, all plants are individually packed in special, plant-friendly packaging. In this, the plants can be properly secured and the leaves protected. This way we prevent the leaves from cracking or crushing, and you can rest assured that we will deliver a beautiful plant!
Fresh from the plant grower to your front door
After you have ordered your new plant, it will be purchased from the grower. The plant will then make a short stop at our distribution centre. Here, all plants are potted * and well packed in a plant-friendly box. We’ll add a plant care card, so you’ll know exactly how much water and daylight your new green roommate needs. On the same day you will receive a track & trace link, and on the next day the delivery service will be at your doorstep, to deliver your new plant. All you need to do is unpack and pick a nice spot for it. Easy breezy!
Want to send a plant as a gift?
Sending a plant as a gift is always a great idea! Does one of your friends or family members have a birthday, housewarming or wedding coming up? Surprise them with a beautiful plant in a stylish pot. A ready-made gift that is packaged in a cheerful box. You could have the plant delivered to your home, but you could also choose to send your plant gift directly to the recipient. Whatever you decide, we are happy to add a personal card for the recipient. If you’d like this, please leave your personal message during the ordering process. This will be handwritten on a nice card, and added to the plant. This also applies to our gift cards!
Plant delivery time
Since all plants are delivered 100% fresh, it will take a few days before you’ll receive your order. This is because your new plants must be ordered first, and we’re dependent on the delivery times of the grower. The delivery time is currently around 5 working days for plants, and 1 to 4 working days for gift cards and accessories. During the ordering process you can select the date on which you want us to deliver your plants. Do you really need it sooner? Then please contact us. We will then check whether we can arrange something for you!
Not at home when your plant is delivered?
Are you not home when your new plant is delivered? Then PostNL will try to deliver your package at your neighbours’. If they aren’t home, PostNL will leave a card with a “not at home code”. Using this code you can schedule a new delivery appointment until 10 p.m. If you do nothing, in most cases PostNL stop by again on the next delivery day (Monday to Saturday). Sometimes PostNL will drop the package off at a PostNL location during the second delivery attempt. You will then be notified of this.
Large plant delivery
Delivery of our XXL plants is different from that of our other plants and accessories. When ordering a large houseplant you can ignore the calendar shown during the ordering process (which shows the delivery date). After placing this order you will be contacted personally, to coordinate when we can have your large plant delivered. We then schedule an appointment with our courier, who will transport your package with the appropriate care.
