Is something wrong with your plant?
Is something wrong with your plant? Contact us immediately! Not after a few days, but as quickly as possible. The sooner we are informed, the better we can help you. If you wait several days after the problem arises to contact us, your warranty will expire. Why? Suppose your plant has had too much water, and the leaves start hanging down. If you contact us directly, we can advise you to take the plant out of the pot and allow the excess water to drain. This would prevent the roots from rotting. If you don’t contact us and let the plant stand in wet soil for multiple days, the root rot may be irreversible. We then would not have had a chance to help you on time.
A hanging leaf, a single brown spot or another small sign of decay is therefore sufficient cause to contact us. Send us a few good photos of the plant and its location. In addition, let us know how you took care of the plant, and share any other information that may be useful in identifying the problem. We may need more specific information to keep you informed. In that case we will send you a number of questions. Once we have all the necessary information, we can properly assess the possible causes and possibly contact the grower. We will then send you advice for the care of your plant to help restore it.
Even after giving this initial advice: if you see a new sign of decay, please contact us immediately. In most cases your plant will recover after you’ve followed our plant care instructions. However, if it does not show any improvements within 14 days, please contact us again! We will then see if we can provide further advice or find another solution.
Your plant might suffer from a pest, such as lice or spider mites. Low humidity, draft and bright sun can make plants susceptible to these diseases. Plants can become contaminated through drafts, other air flows or even through ourselves. Say you’re on a walk through a park or forest, and some lice tag along without you noticing, you could easily infect your indoor plants. Because this can happen to any plant, and because it doesn’t mean that we have delivered an unhealthy plant, the guarantee for pests is shorter. If the pest occurs within 14 days after you’ve received the plant, let us know immediately. As soon as we have been able to conclude from photo and / or video material that it is indeed a pest, we will send you a replacement plant. If you report the pest after 14 days, then unfortunately you are no longer entitled to the warranty. We will, of course, always advise you on the best pest control methods. Because guarantee or not, we are always available for advice!
